Cerakote ceramic polymer coating and traditional Oxynate 7 hot-tank rebluing — applied right, with proper prep and no shortcuts. 100+ Cerakote colors. Rebluing for vintage firearms from $140.
For vintage firearms being restored to original spec, Cerakote isn't always the right answer — traditional hot-tank bluing is. Oxynate 7 is a hot-tank chemical conversion process that produces a deep, classic blue-black finish appropriate for original firearms.
The standard matte finish runs $140 per firearm — this includes full degreasing, hot-tank blue, and a protective oil coat. The deluxe finish adds #240 and #400 grit polish to all flat surfaces before the blue, with protected screw holes and corners. Ask for a quote on the deluxe if you want a traditional high-polish look.
Five-minute quote form. Tell us the firearm and the finish you want — color code, reference photo, or just a description. We'll reply with a written price before any prep work starts.
