Standard labor rate for gunsmithing work — trigger jobs, fitting, repair, cleaning, optics mounting. Most jobs are quoted at an estimated number of hours up front.
When the job requires lathe time, mill time, or other machinery — barrel threading, custom part fabrication, receiver work — the combined labor and machine rate applies.
Minimum bench fee per firearm. Covers handling, inspection, and the time required to safely receive and process any gun that comes across the counter.
For complex or multi-step jobs where you need a detailed breakdown before committing — barrel work, custom builds, restoration — we'll write up a full scope and cost estimate.
Book any service at Tradecraft Gun Works — AR build, trigger job, Cerakote, restoration, anything — and we'll add a complete field-strip cleaning to your order at no charge. That's a $60 value, included.
